Deadwood Mountain Grand To Suspend Operations Due To Coronavirus

DEADWOOD, S.D. (03/20/20) – For the safety of employees and guests and growing concerns of the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Deadwood Mountain Grand will be suspending operations until further notice.

Santana’s Sports Bar and Grill, Six String Restaurant and all casino table games will close at 10pm on Friday, March 20th. Slots will remain operational through 3am Sunday, March 22nd and the hotel will close at 11am on Monday, March 23rd.

We are making the safety of our employees and our guests our top priority and are working with industry partners on recommendations for federal intervention that will help ensure our company – and our industry – recover from this crisis and return to providing you with our first class service, entertainment and hospitality as soon as it is safe to do so.

Deadwood Mountain Grand Postpones/Reschedules Shows Through May

DEADWOOD, S.D. (03/18/20) – Due to concerns over the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations, events scheduled through the month of May at Deadwood Mountain Grand have been postponed/rescheduled.

Shows currently affected include:

· Foreigner scheduled for Saturday, March 21st is postponed. Rescheduled date is Sunday, November 8th, 2020.

· Forks, Corks & Kegs, Food & Wine Fest. scheduled for April 3 & 4 is postponed. New dates are Friday and Saturday, November 6 & 7, 2020.

· Larry the Cable Guy scheduled for April 17th is postponed. Rescheduled date is Friday, September 4th.

· Theory of a Deadman scheduled for Friday, May 15th is postponed. Rescheduled date is still to be determined.

Ticketmaster’s official website stated the following for dates to be rescheduled. “Due to the influx of rescheduled events and overwhelming contact center volume, we have currently paused refunds for any rescheduled events at venues throughout the country.”

The website added “Consistent with the recent announcement from the ‘Live Entertainment Industry Taskforce’ about this unprecedented situation and the volume of affected events, major promoters such as LNE and AEG, have asked us to give them some time to work through rescheduling options before refunds are universally offered”.

For canceled events Ticketmaster states “For any canceled events: Due to the unprecedented volume of cancelations, please note that you (fans) should expect to receive your refund in as soon as 30 days.”

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended that no gatherings with 50 people or more take place for the next eight weeks to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The agency said these gatherings include conferences, festivals, parades, concerts, sporting events, weddings and other types of assemblies.

"Large events and mass gatherings can contribute to the spread of COVID-19 in the United States via travelers who attend these events and introduce the virus to new communities," the CDC said in its new guidelines.

The CDC recommended organizers "cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States." The recommendation does not apply to some organizations like schools or businesses.


Larry The Cable Guy Postpones April 17 Show at Deadwood Mountain Grand

DEADWOOD, S.D. (03/17/20) – Due to concerns over the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the Friday, April 17th performance by Larry the Cable Guy at Deadwood Mountain Grand has been postponed until Friday, September 4th.

Tickets purchased for the April show may be used for the September date. Please see details below if you prefer a refund.

Foreigner Postpones March 21 Show at Deadwood Mountain Grand

DEADWOOD, S.D. (03/14/20) – Due to concerns over the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the Saturday, March 21stperformance by Foreigner at Deadwood Mountain Grand has been postponed. Deadwood Mountain Grand is currently working with Foreigner management on an upcoming reschedule date.

If tickets were purchased for the show, they may be used for the new date. Refunds may be received through the respective ticket outlets beginning Wednesday, March 18th. Legendary Music And Comedy Duo Williams And Ree Making Return Trip To Deadwood Mountain Grand

DEADWOOD, S.D. (02/24/20) – They started their career in South Dakota, went on to become comedy legends and will make a return trip to the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center on Saturday, November 28th when Williams and Ree entertain Deadwood crowds once again.

Williams and Ree, Aka The Indian and The White Guy, are a music and comedy phenomenon. This long running duo eschews political correctness and conformity and spins comedy gold from the union of a Plains Indian (Terry Ree) and a Western Angloid (Bruce Williams).

The framework surrounding the comedic pair is music, which has earned them a CMA vocal duo nomination. Their television credits include Country Kitchen, HeeHaw, Laff TV and Comedy Central. They currently host Country Thunder Music Festivals around North America and are featured on Sirius Radio.
