DEADWOOD, S.D. (06/09/2026) – One of America’s most iconic rock bands is headed to the Black Hills this fall. KANSAS will perform live at Deadwood Mountain Grand on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Since forming in Topeka, Kansas, in 1974, the band has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and earned a place among classic rock’s most enduring acts. Their music continues to resonate with longtime fans while introducing new generations to the band’s distinctive sound.
The band, which is currently comprised of vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt, keyboardist/vocalist Tom Brislin, guitarist Zak Rizvi, guitarist Scott Bernard, violinist/guitarist Joe Deninzon, bassist/vocalist Dan McGowan, original drummer Phil Ehart, and original guitarist Richard Williams, continues to deliver the powerful live performances that have become their trademark.
