DEADWOOD, S.D. (01/19/2026) – Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Wyatt Flores will bring his raw, high-energy live show to Deadwood Mountain Grand on Tuesday, July 21.
Flores is in the midst of a breakout year following the release of his full-length debut album, Welcome to the Plains, released this past fall via Island Records. Produced by Beau Bedford (Orville Peck, Shane Smith & The Saints), the album has earned widespread acclaim and landed on several “Best of 2024” lists from outlets including NPR and Rolling Stone. He has also made recent appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series and CBS Saturday Morning.
Known for his gritty songwriting and electric live performances, Flores recently released his first live album, Live At Cain’s Ballroom, capturing the raw intensity that has quickly built him a devoted fan base. Born and raised in Oklahoma, the Mexican-American artist blends plainspoken storytelling with modern country grit, establishing himself as one of the genre’s most compelling new voices.
Over the past year, Flores has been named one of Rolling Stone’s 25 “Future of Music” artists, nominated for Emerging Act of the Year at the 2024 Americana Awards, selected as Amazon’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year, included in Spotify’s Hot Country Class of 2024 and CMT’s Listen Up class, and made his Grand Ole Opry debut. He has amassed more than 325 million streams to date, and his song “Before I Do,” featuring Jake Kohn, was included on the soundtrack for the film Twisters.
