DEADWOOD, S.D. (11/04/20) – To ensure the safety of customers and staff, Deadwood Mountain Grand will be implementing new safety guidelines for General Admission (standing room only) shows beginning Friday, November 13th with Hairball in concert.
Although there are no State or local mandates regarding the hosting of shows, Deadwood Mountain Grand management are taking extra steps to safeguard both customers and staff at standing room only performances. New safeguards for these shows will include requiring guests to wear masks upon entry, when exiting and during the performance unless in a designated ‘safe zone’ where guests may enjoy a beverage.
Six foot Safe Zones will be marked on the floor throughout the concert hall that will allow patrons to choose a spot and enjoy the performance in an environment free of close crowds. Staff will encourage all patrons to respect the space given for individuals and to try to maintain social distancing throughout the show.
The events will be sold at reduced capacity to maintain a comfortable number of fans allowing a safe distance from others. No tickets will be sold day of show, allowing management ample time to set the room according to expected attendance.
Other safeguards that have been put into place for all shows at Deadwood Mountain Grand include:
- Spraying the entire facility with state-of-the-art Electrostatic Spray that is electrically charged, allowing sanitizers to wrap around and evenly coat all types of surfaces for a more complete clean.
- Sanitizing stations located throughout the facility.
- New concession protocols for better customer flow during shows.
- Plexiglass barriers in place throughout the property in high traffic areas.
- Reduced capacity for seated shows to allow for proper distancing.
If fans are uncomfortable with the new protocols or attending an upcoming show, they may receive a full refund by calling The Spotlight Box Office at Deadwood Mountain Grand at 605-559-1188 or by visiting the ticket outlet their tickets were purchased from.
