DEADWOOD, S.D. (04/14/25) – It’s a rock and roll holiday party you won’t want to miss when One Christmas Night in Memphis hits the stage at Deadwood Mountain Grand on Saturday, December 13 at 7 p.m.

Created and directed by John Mueller, the same mind behind the critically acclaimed and nationally touring show One Night in Memphis, this festive version brings an extra dose of holiday magic. Audiences can expect the legendary sounds of Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley—plus a sleigh-full of seasonal classics guaranteed to get even the Grinch in the spirit.

Backed by an authentic rockabilly band, One Christmas Night in Memphis is a high-energy tribute concert that mixes over 90 minutes of pure 1950s rock and roll, gospel, country, and holiday cheer. Along with the biggest hits like “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Hound Dog,” and more, fans will also be treated to spirited renditions of holiday favorites like “Blue Christmas,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Run Rudolph,” and “White Christmas”—all performed live without backing tracks.

The show pays homage to a legendary moment in rock and roll history—December 4, 1956—when Presley, Perkins, Cash, and Lewis gathered by chance at Sun Records in Memphis for an impromptu jam session that became a cornerstone of American music. One Christmas Night in Memphis captures that iconic night’s energy and blends it with the warmth and nostalgia of the holiday season for a show that’s holly, jolly, and downright unforgettable.
